Her return is full of mystery and gossip for the town’s people and love reunited for Clay Keough. The small town folk whisper and wonder about Claudia, her six year old daughter she’s brought with her, and wonder why she’s returned after all these years. But Clay, whose love for Savannah has never wavered, won’t give up on her now. As they rekindle the old flame, he gently unravels her story as she succumbs to the heart of a man who has always loved her. EVALUATION: 2 - Despite being slow and unnecessarily long, the author builds character depth and draws the reader to care about the characters – even when annoyed with their decisions.
