ANNOTATION: Thirty three and single, Cassie Beaumont seeks the help of a matchmaker to create her perfect Christmas. But as Christmas is filled with surprises, hers is no exception.

SUMMARY: Cassie Beaumont is thirty three, pretty, educated, and holds a good job and friends. So why, she wonders, is she still single?! When a friend refers her to Simon Dodson, she feels she has nothing to lose. But he's nothing like she'd expected. He's bossy, demanding, and often downright rude. Yet she finds him intriguing.

EVALUATION: 3 - The story provided an interesting twist on matchmaking however, depsite the novel premise, the characters lacked depth and believability. Little background and character development led to the feeling of desperation on Cassie’s part as though her life was void because she was single.
